Nearly 20 years have passed since Jam Master Jay was fatally shot in his recording studio in New York City. Nevertheless, authorities are still looking into the matter in an effort to obtain a conviction.
Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who the prosecution wants to call to the stand, is suddenly attracting interest, according to reporter Frank Owen. A subpoena was purportedly issued to the BMF co-founder because of his connections to Jam Master Jay. In court documents, they stated that they didn’t think BMF was responsible for JMJ’s passing. However, they allegedly found connections between the Run DMC member and the cocaine cartel.
It is no secret that BMF maintained close ties to the hip-hop scene throughout its existence. Before the big drug raid, Jam Master Jay seems to have been one of those who dealt with BMF in some way. Early investigations suggested that a failed narcotics transaction led to JMJ’s murder. However, according to recent claims, the DJ may have been selling drugs on behalf of BMF.
According to accounts, JMJ experienced financial difficulties in the mid-1990s when his career started to wane. As a result, he started dealing drugs. Terry Flenory then started fronting for him.
