Radio stations in Las Vegas have stopped playing Green Day music after frontman Billie Joe Armstrong referred to the city as a “s*“.

The 52-year-old artist known as “Basket Case” caused a stir when he made remarks about Sin City following news that his favorite baseball team, the Oakland Athletics, would be relocating to Las Vegas.

Earlier this month, while Green Day was playing at Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, he voiced his disapproval of the city.

“We don’t take s* from people like f**** John Fisher,” he screamed, referring to the owner of Oakland A.

Since then, a few radio stations in Vegas have made the decision to no longer play music by the pop punk group.

“KOMP 92.3 has pulled any and all Green Day from our playlist,” the station wrote on Instagram. Billie, it’s not us.You are the one. #VegasForever

Green Day and X107.5 declared they were “breaking up” “completely”.

“Well, Sin City heard him loud and clear—and X107.5 is not having it,” the station declared on its website. The station is instantly prohibiting all Green Day music due to Armstrong’s provocative remarks.

We’re shocked by his remarks, given that he performed a pop-up event at Fremont Country Club the previous year. The performance was amazing! However, Armstrong has now gone too far with residents in Las Vegas.

“Well, we’re calling it quits on Green Day. Billie, good bye!

Meanwhile, Billie Joe and company infuriated fans of Donald Trump this summer with their “idiot” mask hoax.

At Washington’s Nationals Park, the musician performed “American Idiot” while holding a mask depicting Trump’s face with the word “idiot” scrawled on it. However, the lyrics changed to read, “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda,” rather than “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda.”

Tré Cool, 51, and Mike Dirnt, 52, together make up Green Day. They have long been opponents of Trump, who is running against Kamala Harris for the presidency in November.

To raise money for Maui fire victims, the group sold t-shirts with the former president’s mug image last year.
