In July 2023, Stephen Harper sued Dwight Howard, claiming him of sexual assault and abuse.

According to reports, the lawsuit originated from an interaction at Howard’s Georgia house in 2021. Harper accused Howard of sexual assault, which he denied. Instead, he maintained that they engaged in “consensual sexual activity.” He then asked the judge to dismiss the matter, which they promptly denied in February.

According to ESPN, Harper has dismissed all of his claims against Howard, which means he will be unable to suit him again. Howard’s attorney, Justin Bailey, also informed the newspaper that Harper was not bribed to dismiss the claim. At the time of writing, it is unknown what motivated the decision.

Harper said in his original complaint that he and Howard exchanged a number of sexually explicit direct messages. After months of conversing, Howard allegedly invited Harper to his home for sex. When Harper arrived, he said that he was forced to join a threesome with a cross-dresser named Kitty. Howard’s legal struggle with Harper isn’t the only one that has just come to an end. In March of this year, Howard also abandoned his claim against Masin Elije.

In 2018, Elije allegedly propagated allegations that Howard is bisexual. He disputed this at the time and proceeded to sue her for slander.
