Kai Cenat was overtaken with emotion as he addressed his former cameraman’s illicit correspondence with an underage female.

On Tuesday (July 30), the popular streamer expressed his reaction to learning that his former collaborator, presumably named Chris, had intentionally sexted a 17-year-old girl after becoming aware of her age.

During the show, Cenat fiercely distanced himself from the perpetrator, whom he claims helped him grow his platform and played a big role in his career to date. He also revealed that the girl, who is now 19, contacted him directly with evidence supporting her charges against the cameraman.

“It’s confirmed, okay? All of that has been confirmed, and I’m just sick and tired of having to do this,” Cenat stated.

“I don’t understand why individuals don’t just stop when they see something, such as an age. … I’m not sugarcoating it; the sht looks fucking weird, bro. And the sht fked me up all day, guys. Like the entire fking day. Sht fked me up because, like, nia, what are you doing? Like, what are you doing? Like, nia, I have a full picture of what I want—I need to stop sobbing and sht.”

Cenat continued to separate himself from his cameraman’s behavior, saying, “You’re not supposed to talk to anyone under the age of consent.” It’s not cool. It’s just not right to do, and none of this sht is f*king—you can’t make any excuses for it.”

According to the victim, the communication between her and the camerman lasted from December 2021 to February or March of the following year and began when he messaged her on social media, stating, “I actually wanna get to know you.”

In response, the adolescent informed him that she was “actually 17,” and the cameraman proceeded to interact with her, with their chats centered on video games and competing against one another on Call of Duty.

However, the videographer then sent the victim explicit iMessage texts graphically indicating his desire to have sex with her, which she later told Cenat. “Later, it turned out to be him being flirtatious and then texting me wild sh*t you shouldn’t say to a minor,” she stated in her message to the Bronx native. “I had just turned 17 at the time,” she explained.

Cenat claims that he has taken steps to make atonement for his former cameraman’s behavior and that as a result, he would take more control over his content creation. “I gotta start doing sht on my own,” he informed his audience, expressing concern for the victim’s privacy. “And I reached out to the person and sht like that, making certain to acquire her sh*t. She wanted to remain nameless and such. So I am going to figure this out. “I’m going to figure all of this out.”
