The level of the Jay-Z v. Bacardi litigation has been achieved.

According to sources, Hov’s Bacardi legal lawsuit may involve a dispute over $2 billion involving their business partnership with D’Usse. According to sources, Daniel Schimmel, an arbitrator in the Jay-Z lawsuit, included the $2 billion sum in his job history on the website for his law business.

“Chair of a New York-based ICDR Tribunal in a dispute involving shareholders in a Delaware limited liability firm. The money in question exceeds $2 billion dollars. Schimmel is identified as one of the original potential arbitrators in Jay’s 2018 lawsuit against Iconix Brand Group Inc. in court documents that Complex has access to.

Last month, SC Liquor, an alcohol company owned by Hov, questioned its Bacardi partners about their financial ties. Additionally, according to court records, Hov’s business desired to “watch the conduct of [Bacardi’s] business to preserve SC’s rights as” a partner. But in response, the large alcohol company criticized the owner of Roc Nation for allegedly breaking the agreement.

Empire Investments, a division of Bacardi, reacted to Jay’s complaint by asserting that the two parties had a “handshake arrangement” last December in which Empire agreed to purchase Jay’s 50% ownership of the cognac brand. Hov “abruptly reneged on its commitment and increased its desired valuation,” the booze company claims.

In response, SCLiquor LLC sued Bacardi in an effort to look into claims that Empire has been “artificially holding D’Usse back from realizing its full potential” for many years. The alcohol firm also asserts that any additional documents he requests are not for his eyes since they involve Bacardi data, which is a completely unrelated effort to the D’ussé venture, and that they have previously given him more than 800 pages of financial records.

Currently, Jay-Z wants to end his Du’sse and Bacardi collaboration.
