The Game’s retirement will soon come to an end.

The Game announced his retirement following the release of his final album, Born 2 Rap, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been active elsewhere. The rapper has given advise to ladies considering cosmetic surgery, arm-wrestled none other than Mike Tyson, and continued to stoke his long-running feud with 50 Cent.

Now, it appears that his not-so-relaxing musical retirement is coming to an end. The Game announced the release date for his upcoming album, Drillmatic– Mind Vs. Heart, on Instagram on Saturday (May 28). It’ll be his first album in almost a year.

Game is seen cradling his son, who is wearing an NWA chain, in an old Instagram post. The release date was mentioned in the caption: June 17th, 2022. He also stated that Hit-Boy would be the executive producer for the project. Drillmatic isn’t the first time we’ve heard of it; earlier this month, the renowned rapper hinted at its release. “Because the energy seems like I just signed my deal, I know my record will be the finest album of 2022. I promise you’ve never heard me rap like this before “He asserted.

And Game isn’t the only one who thinks his upcoming album is fantastic. Drillmatic is expected to be the “hardest album” of 2022, according to G Herbo. Hit-Boy has also contributed to the album’s promotion. During a recent visit on Sway In The Morning, the producer debuted an unreleased track from The Game that is expected to be included on Drillmatic. Take a look at the teaser below and tell us what you think. Will Herbo turn out to be correct?
