Steph Curry is on his way to his sixth NBA Finals appearance.

The Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry are returning to the NBA Finals. The last time they made it this far was in 2019, when Kevin Durant was still on the team. Of course, they fell to the Toronto Raptors that year, resulting in the team missing the playoffs for the next two seasons in a row.

The Warriors finally defeated the Dallas Mavericks last night, ensuring that they will play in the NBA Finals next week, where they will face either the Miami Heat or the Boston Celtics. The Warriors are likely to be drawn against the Celtics, based on the outcome of the Boston-Miami series.

Curry received the inaugural Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP Award following the game. Curry was reportedly ecstatic by the accolade, telling ESPN that being compared to someone like Magic Johnson is always a big deal.

Curry added, “The new trophy is quite awesome.” “Especially since it’s named after Magic Johnson, who set the bar for being a champion and playing point guard (or whatever position he played). Just the level of quality he shown throughout his entire career.”
