As of the first week of January 2025, Roku had over 90 million streaming households.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After declaring in October that it would no longer offer quarterly updates on its streaming household numbers and average income per user, the streaming platform released the report on Tuesday. There were 85.5 million streaming households as of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This news follows the revelation of monthly active user numbers by Tubi, a free streaming service with ads that competes with Roku Channel, on Monday. The platform reported 97 million monthly active users. As of the end of October, there were 88 million monthly active users of Samsung’s FAST service, TV Samsung Plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pluto, a prominent rival in the FAST market that is owned by Paramount, has not disclosed its user base since May 2023, when it claimed to have 80 million active users each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
