In his claimed murder-for- hire case\u2014one that is still developing gradually but surely\u2014 Lil Durk will engage in a protracted and convoluted court struggle. <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most recently, based on revised prison and court documents, officials apparently moved him from Miami, where he stayed following his arrest in the Florida city, to a Los Angeles federal jail. The Chicago rapper now awaits his first hearing or arraignment over the indictment against him and many other people by federal law enforcement. For those not familiar, he is accused of financially helping these people try to kill rival Quando Rondo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Federal authorities claim that Quando Rondo’s cousin Lul Pab died from this alleged hit. Regarding additional updates in the Lil Durk case, this pre-trial process offers not much for us to work from. We do know, though, that Smurk’s family and loved ones are supporting each other and advocating for his life while he is behind bars. India Royale, his long-time partner, recently shared a photo of all his children to remind supporters of the stakes involved in this convoluted case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, given the precedent and image this claimed murder-for- hire case in federal court creates about the rap industry, it seems like it will also create some strong questions and issues. The indictment of Lil Durk included his rap lyrics, which will probably cause a lot of hot argument. More than ever, many both inside and outside of the culture agree that artistic expressions shouldn’t be used as proof against the person creating them. We sadly seem no closer to a surefire and all-encompassing answer for the problem. Still, it is currently unknown exactly how this will apply in this particular situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
