The most recent of them came during the Atlanta femcee&#8217;s visit on DDG&#8217;s No Ordinary podcast, when she stated that the &#8220;Strike&#8221; MC utilized a team of writers for his 2023 psych-rock album, Let&#8217;s Start Here. Yachty jumped into DJ Akademiks&#8217; comments section for a post about this issue and addressed the charges directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;No one has ever written for me just for the record,&#8221; Lil Yachty said. Of course, having writers for a psych-rock album is quite different than having writers for a hip-hop album, but the weight behind them is still significant given Yachty&#8217;s status in the culture. He also leveled ghostwriting charges against KARRAHBOOO, claiming they had a falling out over her refusal to hire writers when she was with Concrete Boys.
