Apple has announced the date of their next major event: September 9th, 2024, at 1PM ET \/ 10AM PT. The event, themed “It’s Glowtime,” will be held in Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the company is likely to unveil its iPhone 16 lineup. The biggest change with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus is believed to be a vertically oriented camera system on the back. (If the final phones resemble the iPhone 16 fake units, I’m already a fan of this modification.) The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max phones may have larger screens, but they are expected to retain Apple’s famous three-camera design. Those phones may also come in a new bronze hue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All four iPhone 16 models are expected to include the Action Button, which was previously restricted to the Pro line with the iPhone 15. Apple’s new iPhones may potentially include a new button for taking images and movies, but it’s unclear whether this will be a Pro-only feature or available on standard iPhone 16 models as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI and Apple Intelligence features are also expected to play a significant role in Apple’s event. Apple Intelligence is now supported by only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, however the entire iPhone 16 series is reported to support it. (When Apple Intelligence becomes available, that is.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple is also expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 10 and two models of new AirPods at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
