In a statement outlining the reasons for the price increase, DISH blamed local TV stations. “First, the local broadcasters of ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC stations consistently compel us to pay more for their channels or threaten to remove them from our customers. The cost of these channels has increased by more than 200% in the last five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
