A lady has been arrested and accused in the Graceland auction fraud case after allegedly attempting to illegally take over Elvis Presley’s mansion.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Federal prosecutors accuse Missouri resident Lisa Jeanine Findley of organizing a fraudulent sale of Graceland by falsely alleging Lisa Marie Presley used the historic site as security for a loan she failed to repay before her death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We discussed this extensively in May\u2026 Graceland was about to be auctioned off until a judge intervened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As previously reported, a firm called Naussany Investments and Private Lending claimed Lisa Marie failed to repay a $3.8 million loan and used Graceland as collateral\u2026 but Elvis’ granddaughter, Riley Keough, filed paperwork saying the company’s stated loan documents were bogus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Elvis estate representative tells TMZ\u2026 “We believe this is the first domino to fall, not the last. We don’t think this is the brains behind the fraud. Statements attributed to the arrested woman hint to someone with a loose connection to the Elvis community.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we followed up to request more information, the estate official stated that this was all they could share at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TMZ broke the story, and the FBI eventually got involved, opening a criminal investigation into the alleged sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United States Department of Justice confirmed Findley’s arrest on Friday, charging her with mail fraud and aggravated identity theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Findley is scheduled to appear in federal court later today in Missouri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prosecutors say Findley faces a mandatory minimum of two years in jail for identity theft and a maximum of twenty years for mail fraud if found guilty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
