A major development in the Matthew Perry death investigation: many arrests have been made, including at least one doctor\u2026 TMZ has learnt.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to law enforcement sources, multiple agencies have executed search warrants and seized computers, phones, and other electronic equipment in an effort to determine who supplied Perry with the ketamine that caused him to lose consciousness and drown in his hot tub in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, last October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, but the last session occurred a week and a half before his death, thus the ketamine in his system was not doctor-prescribed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to TMZ, Perry had the same dose of ketamine in his system that is used under general anesthesia during surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to law enforcement sources, Perry took ketamine that was not lawfully prescribed, and various agencies, including the DEA, USPS, and LAPD, have been conducting a criminal investigation for months.<\/p>\n\n\n

According to reports, at least one doctor has been detained, as have several dealers who assisted in the arrangement and delivery of ketamine to Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to our sources, the search warrant turned up text messages about Perry and the ketamine he sought, as well as what they were doing to get it. The texts also outline how much the “Friends” actor would pay for the substance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to TMZ, authorities obtained a search warrant for Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex, who had been in a treatment center with Perry, but she is not connected to the charges. During their probe, officials discovered other celebrities connected in the Hollywood drug scene.<\/p>\n\n\n

On October 28, 2023, TMZ broke the word about Perry’s death. He was 54.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These arrests make it evident that authorities are focusing their efforts on doctors and traffickers who unlawfully distribute medications. Notably, Ryan Reavis received an 11-year sentence as the middleman who sold fentanyl-laced pills to Mac Miller, causing the rapper’s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
