BackGrid USA, Inc. and Backgrid London Ltd have filed a new lawsuit against Kanye West for posting images of himself and his wife, Bianca Censori, without authorization. <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to AllHipHop, one of the photos has Ye dressed entirely in black, while Censori is wearing one of her daring nude translucent dresses. The caption reads, “Yall know who ran the summer.” Another image shows the two arriving at The Nuova Arena Restaurant in Milan in February 2024, while another shows them entering a Balenciaga store. The lawsuit mentions 10 photographs from his Instagram profile and website in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BackGrid claimed that by distributing these photos, West benefited monetarily from increased attention to his web channels. They demand statutory damages of up to $150,000 per picture used by West, as well as attorney’s costs and injunctive relief. The sum comes to $1.5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West and Censori have been inseparable lately. During the weekend, the two went to a party where West DJed. He performed popular songs by Prince, Eurythmics, The Eagles, JAY-Z, and others, but also made headlines for allegedly playing songs by Diddy and R. Kelly back to back. Producer Mike Hector, who was in attendance, posted on X (previously Twitter): “I’m at this party, and Kanye is DJing. He played two Diddy tunes and then a R Kelly song straight after. “This n**a does not give a f<\/em>ck.” Censori, on the other hand, drew attention with her dance moves next to West while he handled the music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
