Bruce Springsteen’s doctor advised him to postpone four gigs on his European tour. Shows in Marseille, France, Prague, Czech Republic, and Milan, Italy are affected.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Springsteen’s management announced the news on his website and Instagram. “Following yesterday’s postponement in Marseille due to vocal issues, further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days,” the statement reads. “With this in mind, additional postponements are required for Airport Letnany in Prague, and San Siro Stadium in Milan.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New dates for these events will be announced soon, and fans can request a refund for the impacted dates. “Bruce is recuperating comfortably and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan,” the statement ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The postponement comes just a few months after Bruce Springsteen resumed the U.S. portion of his tour, which was canceled in September 2023. Springsteen disclosed that he had been diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease, necessitating a pause from his tour. Springsteen recently discussed his diagnosis on an edition of SiriusXM’s “E Street Radio with Jim Rotolo.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Before, people told me, ‘Oh no, it’ll go away, and you’ll be fine. [But] you are thinking, “Hey, am I going to sing again?” Springsteen informed Rotolo. “And you know, this is one of the things I love to do the best, the most right now\u2014and I can’t do it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
