Elon Musk has said that he regrets, at least in part, his timid remarks against President Donald Trump from last week. This is a classic flip-flop.

In the middle of the night, the Tesla CEO got on X and apologized vaguely to Trump, stating that he regrets “some” of his post criticizing the president and that they “went too far.”

He did not specify which tweets he felt were superfluous, and Trump has not yet addressed his public apology.

TMZ contacted Trump’s representatives, but has not heard back as of yet.

Recall that Elon’s “apology” follows just a few days after he and Trump went on a social media tirade in which they attacked each other and threatened to terminate their commercial agreements.

And in a since-deleted tweet, Elon made the shocking assertion that Trump is listed in the Epstein files. He also claimed that without Trump’s backing, 47 would not have won the 2024 election.

Trump claimed he was “very disappointed” in his once-close ally but had more important issues to worry about when the argument subsided. However, he also cryptically warned that the former head of DOGE would face “serious consequences” if he supported any Democratic candidates in the future.

Ted Cruz, on the other hand, asserted that he was with Trump during the startling social media spat and that the president was “furious” over the outcome.

The fight was even discussed by Vice President JD Vance, who described it as a “huge mistake” on Elon’s part. As he pledged his loyalty to the president, he expressed his hope that Elon would “come back to the fold.”

Maybe that’s possible now that Elon has expressed regret. Keep an eye out…
